Xi’an, or “ Gao ” for short , was called Chang’an and Gaojing in ancient times . It is the provincial capital, sub-provincial cities , megacities , and core cities of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration . It is an important central city in western China approved by the State Council and an important national scientific research, Education, industrial base [1-3] . As of 2019, the city has 11 districts and 2 counties, with a total area of 10,752 square kilometers, a built-up area of 729.14 square kilometers, a permanent population of 10,203,500, an urban population of 7,612,800, and an urbanization rate of 74.61% [4] .
